QR Code Generator
Generate QR codes for URLs and text. Custom colors, PNG & SVG export.
How it works
- Choose what to encode: a URL, plain text, Wi-Fi login, contact card, or email.
- Fill in the details and adjust color, margin, and error-correction level.
- Preview the code updating live as you type.
- Download it as a crisp PNG or a scalable SVG.
What people use it for
- Linking a poster, menu, or business card to a website.
- Sharing Wi-Fi access without reading out the password.
- Putting a scannable contact card (vCard) on print material.
Good to know
- A higher error-correction level survives smudges and logos better but packs the code more densely — very long content plus high correction can get hard to scan.
- The QR standard has a data ceiling; extremely long text may not encode.
Frequently asked questions
PNG or SVG — which should I download?
PNG for quick use and screens; SVG when you need to scale the code large for print without any pixelation, since it is pure vector.
What error-correction level should I use?
Higher levels recover from damage or a logo overlay but make the code denser. Medium is a good default; go higher only if the code will be printed small or partly covered.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser, so URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, and contact details never leave your device.
