How it works

Drop any image; it is loaded locally, never uploaded.
The canvas is exactly 1280x720, YouTube's required thumbnail size.
Add bold text, position it away from the corner timestamp area, and check the 2 MB size limit.
Download the PNG or JPG, rendered entirely on your device.

The 2 MB limit is YouTube's rule, not ours; the tool shows the export size before you download.
The bottom-right corner is covered by the video duration on YouTube; keep text out of it.
PNG exports are larger than JPG at the same quality; use JPG if you hit the size limit.

Exactly 1280x720 pixels, in JPG, PNG or GIF, under 2 MB. The canvas is fixed to that size so the export always fits.

The tool ships bold display fonts chosen for thumbnail legibility at small sizes, plus size, color and outline controls.

No. Everything, including the final render, happens locally in your browser.
