Nothing leaves your device · No signup · No daily limit
Up to 100 MB per file
How it works
- Drop one or more images — JPG or PNG/WebP both work.
- Set the quality level; the preview shows the trade-off.
- Compress, then compare the original and reduced sizes for each file.
- Download the smaller images individually or as a batch.
What people use it for
- Getting photos under an email or upload size limit.
- Speeding up a web page by shrinking oversized images.
- Batch-compressing a folder of images before sharing.
Good to know
- JPGs are re-encoded as JPEG; PNG and other formats are re-encoded as WebP for a smaller result, so the output format may differ from the input.
- Compression is quality-based, not a fixed target size — lower quality means smaller files but softer detail.
Frequently asked questions
Will my PNG stay a PNG?
PNGs are re-encoded to WebP, which is usually much smaller at the same visual quality. JPGs stay JPEG. If you specifically need PNG output, use a PNG-preserving tool.
Does quality loss stack if I compress twice?
Yes — re-compressing an already-compressed image degrades it further. Compress once from the best original you have.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Compression uses a canvas re-encode in your browser; images never leave your device.
