How it works

  1. Drop two or more PDFs — they are read locally, never uploaded.
  2. Drag the files into the order you want them combined.
  3. Click merge and review the result.
  4. Download the combined PDF — it is built in memory on your device.

What people use it for

  • Combining scanned pages, invoices, or chapters into one document.
  • Assembling a report from separately exported sections.
  • Reordering PDFs before sending, without a desktop editor.

Good to know

  • Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs must be unlocked first — the tool cannot open them.
  • Merge preserves each source page as-is; it does not re-flow or re-paginate text.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to merge them?

No. Merging happens with pdf-lib in your browser; the documents are read into memory locally and never sent to a server.

Is there a file count or size limit?

There is no artificial cap — the practical limit is your device's memory, since everything is assembled locally. Very large batches use more RAM.

Will merging change my page quality?

No. Pages are copied intact, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
