How it works

Drop your PDF. Short files (up to 12 pages) land on the board right away; for longer ones, tap the pages you need in the left panel.
Grab the pen, highlighter or text and write around the pages. Drag with the Hand to move around, pinch or Ctrl + scroll to zoom.
Teaching live? Switch on full screen and use the Laser to point. Its trail fades on its own and never ends up in the file.
When you're done, hit Download board to keep everything as one PDF.

What people use it for

Walking a class through a worksheet or past exam paper on the projector or smart board.
Putting two or three pages side by side to compare them while you explain.
Recording a lesson video: share your screen, point with the laser, write the steps next to the page.
Making a one-page summary: drop the key pages on the board and add your own notes around them.

Good to know

The board lives in this tab only. Close the tab and it's gone, so download it before you leave.
Pages come from the PDF you opened. To mix several files, merge them first with Merge PDF.
Password-protected PDFs can be read but not put on the board until you unlock them.
The download is one large page that fits everything, so printing it on A4 shrinks it.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a free online whiteboard for PDFs?

Yes, free and with no account. Open a PDF, its pages appear on the board, and you can write, draw and point at them. Nothing is uploaded: it all runs in your browser.

Can I use it on a smart board or projector?

Yes. Open it in the browser on the board's computer and press Present for full screen. Draw with a finger or pen and pinch to zoom.

Does the laser pointer leave marks?

No. The laser trail disappears after about a second and is never saved. Use the Pen when you want something to stay.

What do I get when I download the board?

A single PDF page with your PDF pages, drawings and text exactly where you put them. The pages stay sharp and their text can still be selected and searched.
