PDF Watermark
Stamp text or image watermarks across PDF pages with live preview.

How it works
- Drop a PDF and choose a text or image watermark.
- Style it: opacity from 5–100%, rotation (0–90°, diagonal 45° by default), font size and color for text, scale for images.
- Position it on a 9-point grid, or switch to tile mode to repeat it across the whole page — the live preview shows page 1 exactly as it will print.
- Apply to all pages or a page range and download the watermarked PDF.
What people use it for
- Stamping DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, or PAID across a document before sharing it.
- Adding a company logo watermark to proposals and reports.
- Marking review copies so they cannot be passed off as finals.
Good to know
- The watermark is drawn into the page content — visible in every PDF reader — but a determined editor could still crop or cover it; for uncopyable protection combine it with Protect PDF restrictions.
- Text watermarks use the built-in Helvetica font, so they render Latin characters; for other scripts use an image watermark.
Frequently asked questions
Can I watermark just some pages?
Yes — type a page range like "1,3-5" to stamp only those pages, or leave it on all pages.
Text or image — which should I use?
Text is instant and crisp for words like CONFIDENTIAL; an image (PNG with transparency works best) is right for logos or non-Latin scripts.
Is the document uploaded to add the watermark?
No. The preview and the final stamping both happen in your browser with pdf-lib; the file never leaves your device.
